Bargain Hunting can be anything from - visiting car boots to searching ebay. Hopefully you will find some helpful tips here.
CAR BOOTS
Always be prepared to haggle at car boots.
Start the bartering far lower than you are prepared to pay - then slowly offer a little more until both you and the seller are satisfied with the final price.
Take plenty of change to carboots and pretend its all you have left
Dress as casual as possible because if you dress too smatly sellers will assume you can afford to pay top price for items.
Go back a few minutes before the car boot ends to get the best possible price.
AUCTIONS
At auctions keep in mind a final price you are prepared to pay for an item or items and stick to it. Go before the actual auction to inspect the lots and decide what you will bid on.
EBAY
On ebay search for mis-spelt items to snap up a bargain not many people have seen . eBay
use a bidding system where you can let them know your final bid amount
and they will bid on your behalf up to that final amount. perfect for
snapping up bargains when your busy etc :0) Use eBays watch
items facility and get a feel for what sells when perfect if you are
looking to sell items on ebay. use it as a market research tool. Check out the sellers feedback to help make the decision wether you wish to do business with them or not.
